Here the nuns sing ‘Maria’

• Mirabell Gardens and Mirabell Palace:
Maria and the children sing ‘Do-Re-Mi’

• Residenzplatz and Residenzbrunnen:
Maria crosses the Residenzplatz in the bus on her way from the Nonnberg Monastery to the Trapp Villa and sings ‘I have confidence in me’

• Rock riding school:
Here the Trapp family sings their farewell song in the film and the Baron sings his “Edelweiss Song”.

The dramatic escape scenes were filmed here

• Leopoldskron Castle:
The sea-facing facade represented Baron von Trapp’s house in the film
